Fenwick's Next Chapter

President-Principal Administration Model
Partnership with St. Mary of the Annunciation, Danvers

Reflecting our rich tradition and the enthusiasm with which we approach our future, the Fenwick Board of Trustees has elected to adopt the administration model of a President-Principal model at the commencement of the 2019-2020 Academic Year, July 1, 2019. Fenwick's recent partnership in 2018 with St. Mary of the Annunciation School in Danvers with its wonderful tradition of academic excellence, has provided opportunities to strengthen our Catholic educational mission and we are poised for continued success with this exciting partnership and strategic leadership model.

In our new administrative model, executive functions are aligned around two distinct leadership profiles: the outward-facing entrepreneur and institution-builder (President), and the inward-facing academician and champion of teaching, learning, and best practice (Principal).

We are all thrilled that Thomas E. Nunan, Jr. has been appointed the 1st president of Bishop Fenwick. Known as an inspirational leader with a strong strategic focus, as president, Mr. Nunan will ensure academic excellence at Fenwick and our partner school, St. Mary of the Annunciation of Danvers, as both schools continue to educate the whole student. Completing the leadership team in the principal roles is newly selected Cecilia Marquez who will begin her duties on July 1, 2019 at Fenwick and Sharon Burrill at St. Mary of the Annunciation, Danvers.
