We at Bishop Fenwick are committed to the development and maintenance of a system that best meets the needs of our students and faculty. To this end we perform yearly reviews of hardware, software and curriculum.
The current technical facilities include:
- Fiber optic network with multiple drops in every classroom and Office
- Wireless network in the science wing, the library, and the auditorium.
- Five computer labs
- Two for computer classes
- Two for resource rooms
- Digital photography lab
- Laptops for student use in science labs and library
- Computers in all classrooms
- Electronic Promethean Board for every department
- Classroom projection system on every floor
- Internet access from every computer using a T1 line
- A voice over IP phone system using another T1 line
After completing a unit on technology ethics, freshmen are issued an individual account on the system as well as an individual e-mail account, which they retain throughout their four years at Bishop Fenwick.
