Bishop Fenwick High School believes that technology is an effective tool in delivering and enhancing education. Therefore technology should not be isolated into separate courses but used liberally throughout the curriculum. As a result, the teachers at Bishop Fenwick have created projects that develop technical skills as well as reinforce the subject area curriculum.
Because our students come from a variety of technological backgrounds, our freshman projects are designed to teach students how to:
-
Successfully navigate a client/server network
-
Use new application software
-
Use the research facilities available through our library
-
Submit their papers to turnitin.com
-
Use remote access to access their files from home
-
Use Method Test Prep as a Tool for SAT and ACT prep.
Sample of some freshman projects:
-
