Pre-requisite: One credit in French II-Honors with a B- or better or one credit in French II- Accelerated with an A- or Department approval.

There will also be a continued development of written skills with an emphasis to reinforce and strengthen grammatical knowledge.

This course provides the opportunity for students to integrate the four language skills as well as to review advanced grammar. Authentic audio materials will develop the students' listening abilities, and a variety of authentic written text will enhance students' vocabulary and reading ability. The course provides students with frequent opportunities to write both informal and formal compositions in French and to develop their speaking skills in a variety of settings. This course is comparable in content and in difficulty to a course in French Composition and Conversation at the third-year college level. All students will be required to take the Advanced Placement Examination in French Language upon completion of the course.
Pre-requisite: One credit on French IV-Honors with a B- or better or Department approval.
