Application Process

1. Submit the application for admission. There are two parts to the application: the parent application and the student application which contains a student essay.    Download Forms.  Please include the application fee of $25.00.  Checks may be made payable to Bishop Fenwick High School.
   
2. Register for and take the High School Placement Test.  The test will be given on Saturday, November 13 and December 11 2010.  The test is taken only once and is taken only by students in the eighth grade.  The test is given at a number of locations.  When you take the test be sure to designate code 35 in the results section so that your scores will be forwarded to Bishop Fenwick High School.
   
3. Request that your transcript for 7^th grade and the first marking period of 8^th grade be sent to Bishop Fenwick High School.  Recommendations from your Principal, Guidance Counselor, or teacher are helpful.

Admission to the freshman class at Bishop Fenwick High School is determined by a variety of factors:

• grades from 7^th and 8^th grades
• results from the High School Placement Test
• elementary school testing results and
• recommendation from your current Principal, Guidance Councilor or a teacher.

Personal Interviews are not required for admission into the Freshman Class.

Notification of acceptance will be sent on Monday January 31, 2011.
