LITURGY, PRAYER, AND SACRAMENT

Prayer and worship are essential to our lives as people.  At Fenwick, we offer whole school, individual class, and activity club or team Liturgies and prayer services.  Small group opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and prayer are offered during Advent and Lent and through religion classes.

The Chapel is open each day from 7:30am to 3:00pm for private reflection and prayer.  A prayer intention book is at the rear of the Chapel.  Mass cards are available through the Development Office. These intentions are remembered each day in prayer and at Masses.

RETREATS

Our retreats offer the student an opportunity to step away from his/her normal routine, slow down, and take a fresh look at his/her life and relationships.  We offer a freshman day retreat; and a sophomore day retreat.

SERVICE DAYS

Our service days offer our students an opportunity to participate in community service that addresses the needs of and helps improve the quality of life of others in the community.  We offer freshman and sophomore days of service and a nine-day service project for seniors prior to Graduation.

 PEER LEADERSHIP

The Peer Leadership program is a hands on, leadership skills training process. The goal of peer leadership training is to develop a group of students, Peer Leaders, trained in leadership skills, who choose to use their talents and skills to help others. Students are welcome to participate starting in their sophomore year of school.  Students are required to attend these training sessions offered in January and February.  Consult school calendar for specific dates.
