What is Family Connection?

·         Web-based resource that supports career and college planning

·         Specific to Bishop Fenwick High School

·         Provides a secure method to research colleges, manage applications, 
    and keep track of deadlines

What can it do?

·         Conduct college searches

How do you register?
 Go to http://connection.naviance.com/fenwick

·         Each student will receive a code

                        Use the code to create your own personal account

                        Codes are used only once

·         On your first visit, enter the code in the New User box, then follow instructions

·         You will be instructed to enter your Email address and to create a password

·         On subsequent visits, sign in using the Returning User box, using your Email 
    and password previously entered.

 
Features to Explore:

College Lookup – This resource tool provides comprehensive information on thousands of colleges.  In addition to general admissions information, further data is presented on academics, cost, student body characteristics and extracurricular activities.

My Colleges – Allows students to build a list of colleges to which they will by applying listing application deadlines, ED, EA, and priority deadlines.

College Search – Enter criteria such as size, location, cost, specific majors, or athletic programs, and students can produce a list of colleges that meet their criteria.

Acceptance History – This features shows all colleges to which Fenwick students have been accepted and number enrolling in each.

Scattergrams – A graphical view of application outcomes (accepted, denied, waitlisted) at a college for recent Fenwick applicants using GPA and SAT scores.  Students can guage their chances of acceptance by comparing personal GPA/SAT numbers with those of successful applicants.

Visit Schedule – This feature informs students of dates and times college representatives will be visiting our guidance office.
