FENWICK SCHOLARS PROGRAM
There are two Fenwick Scholars Programs of varying amounts. One program is named for St. Julie BIlliart, foundress of the Sisters of Notre Dame, and the other named for Bishop Benedict Joseph, the second Bishop of Boston and our namesake. Fenwick Scholars Program candidates are considered based on the strength of their academic record and standardized test scores. :
- Strong Performance on the High School Placement Test
- Academic Achievement
- Leadership and Service Qualities
The Alumni Award is extended to an incoming Class of 2022 student whose parent is a Bishop Fenwick graduate. Students will receive a $1,000 award toward their tuition each year.
The Sibling Award is granted to an incoming ninth grader who joins a sibling currently attending Fenwick. Each sibling will receive a $500 award toward their tuition the school year in which two or more siblings are currently enrolled.
There are two Fenwick Recognition Awards of varying amounts. The Harrington Award is named for Kevin Harrington, former Massachusetts State Senator, who was very helpful and influential in Fenwick's success. He was also father and grandfather to six Fenwick students. The other is the Principal's Award. Both are based on the following criteria:
- Academic Record
- Extra and co-curricular activities
- Leadership and civic involvement
Candidates will be notified by the school of their eligibility and related process. Scholarship recipients will be notified at the completion of the selction process.
