On Campus --Turf field stadium for lacrosse, soccer, football and field hockey, all-weather surface 400M track, Cross Country course, 2 baseball fields, 2 softball fields, 1 grass soccer field, 1 grass field hockey field, 5 tennis courts, and Le Duc Center training facility. Off Campus -- Ice Hockey teams use the James E. McVann-Louis F. O'Keefe Memorial Skating Rink as home ice. The Golf Team’s home course is The Meadows at Peabody. The Gymnastics Team competes at Baker’s School of Gymnastics and the Swim Team competes at the Salem YMCA.
All students at Bishop Fenwick High School utilize ACER tablets. This one-to-one initiative provides students with a more dynamic curricular experience while focusing on exploration and interaction using relevant educational content. Wireless access is available in all classrooms and common areas. In addition, computer stations available in the library and several labs provide additional opportunities for students. Promethean/SMART Board technology is equipped in many classrooms. The science department utilizes a mobile technology station. The art department features a Design Lab with 20 iMacs. In addition, Fenwick participates in the Virtual High School, a collaborative that provides student access to over 100 courses of all academic disciplines and levels, including honors and Advanced Placement, to enhance the educational experience at Fenwick.
Nearly 30 clubs, organizations and extra-curricular programs are available to students in all grade levels with offerings as varied as Campus Outreach (Service), Mock Trial, Select Choir, Robotics, Book Club, Current Events, Environmental Club, Math Team, Multicultural Club, National Honor Society, Newspaper, Pep Band, SAC (Student Leadership), Technology, Theater, and Yearbook.
Bishop Fenwick offers 26 interscholastic sports at a variety of levels which participate primarily in the Catholic Central League. Nearly 80% of the student body participates in at least one sport. Each year Fenwick sees numerous students continue their athletic careers at various Division I, II and III colleges and universities across the country.
For our Male Student Athletes: Football, Soccer, Cross Country, Golf, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Swimming, Indoor Track, Baseball, Tennis, Lacrosse and Outdoor Track.

Bishop Fenwick is committed to fostering in its students a special love and concern for those in need in the world. Each grade level has its own service expectations, culminating in the 2 week long Senior Service project which is an opportunity for students to understand, reflect, develop, and recognize the value and dignity of every person. Senior Service is a graduation requirement. Fenwick students as a whole average over 8,500 hours of community service each year.
Recently, Bishop Fenwick seniors have been accepted to colleges and universities across the country including Harvard, Brown, Penn, MIT, Boston College, RIT, Middlebury, Georgetown, Holy Cross, Clemson, Wellesley, Tulane, Savannah College of Art and Design, Boston University, Bowdoin, Notre Dame and Villanova. The Class of 2016 was offered more than $14,000,000 in college merit Scholarships (not including financial aid) from colleges and universities across the country.
Honors level courses are offered in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Chorus and Foreign Language. Advanced Placement course offerings include English Language, English Literature, World History, US History, US Government & Politics, Psychology, Spanish Language, French Language, Calculus AB, Biology, and Chemistry. Other Advanced Placement offerings such as Art History, Computer Science, Statistics, and Calculus BC are available through Virtual High School, an online collaborative. Endicott College currently offers two college level courses that are held on Fenwick’s campus and available to juniors and seniors.
Fenwick has over 9,000 alumni living in every state (with the exception of the Dakotas!) as well as in numerous countries including Canada, China, England, France, Greece, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand and Sweden. Fenwick alums serve their country, communities, neighbors and families in a myriad of ways. They are educators, entrepreneurs, members of religious orders, firefighters, police officers, and members of the military. Just a few notable alumni achievements include a Pulitzer prize nomination for photography, a Fulbright Scholar, designing outfits for celebrities such as Ellen DeGeneres, being selected as a cast member of the hit TV show Glee, appearing on Broadway, starting a foundation in Africa to help children, being nominated for NCAA woman of the year, and serving as superintendents of schools from Peabody to Baltimore.
